Nov. 10,2011	Topic: Incremental Sampling Overview	Speaker: Steve Packard	Topic Overview: Incremental Sampling Methodology (ISM) is a structured sampling protocol that improves the reliability and defensibility of sampling data by reducing their variability compared to conventional discrete sampling strategies. Samples are collected from multiple locations within each area of concern, called decision units, and composited so the samples are spatially representative of the decision unit. Speaker: Patrick Victor, Vice President with CDM	Speaker: Eric Peterson, Compliance Assistance Specialist, OSHA, Jacksonville Area Office	Speaker: Tom Fallin - England, Thims and Miller & Ms. Alexa Graf-Project Manager for the Preservation Project Sumamry:In 1999, the City of Jacksonville launched an initiative known as "The Preservation Project", which acquired undeveloped land throughout the City in cooperation with other public agencies such as the St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD), National Park Service, Florida Division of Parks and Recreation, JEA, and other agencies. The City has used this land to provide public passive parks and support recreational usage. This presentation will focus on the accomplishments of this program as it relates to preserving natural areas, constraining urban sprawl, and establishing better access for visitors and residents to our natural wonders in Northeast Florida
