The primary duties of the Geologist will be to manage a variety of environmental compliance reporting projects including coordination of field sampling, evaluation of data and report preparation. WIll manage and perform contamination assessment projects. Candidate will serve as a technical resource with geologic and hydrologic studies, including field work, and other hydrologic, geologic, geophysical tasks both locally and nationally. Assist with other environmental tasks as needed including Phase I ESAs, and others. Assist with contaminated site remediation tasks. Under broad general instruction, conducts analyses to develop design options or recommendations and assists in the preparation of service deliverable documents. Performs assignments requiring application of moderately complex objectives and limited variables. Works independently on medium sized projects or assists more senior scientists on larger projects. |

Environmental Engineer
Waste New! Florida Location This position will be responsible for plant environmental waste programs to assure facility compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and company policies and guidelines, while promoting continuous improvement in environmental performance. RCRA and waste compliance responsibilities include ensuring that the site meets all RCRA requirements for a large quantity generator and submitting all necessary RCRA reports to state agencies. Additional compliance activities include but are not limited to completing regulatory compliance reports, providing leadership on waste disposal matters, and ensuring that all projects are reviewed and the appropriate waste compliance provisions are addressed. The Waste Environmental Engineer will also be responsible for working with manufacturing areas and conducting training as necessary to ensure that environmental compliance responsibilities are communicated and understood across the plant site. A Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is required and a minimum of 5 years environmental compliance experience. Knowledge of RCRA, EPCRA, Remediation and State rules and regulations is a must. Qualified candidates must also have demonstrated strong interpersonal and communications skills, both oral and written in order to effectively interface with diverse groups both on and off the site. The successful candidate will also be a self-motivated individual with the demonstrated ability to interpret and apply governmental regulations and company policies and guidelines.
